Without, without sowing the seeds, by simply, because of the rain shower, do you expect the harvest? Though their seeds are sown, without the rain do you expect the harvest? Unless seeds being sown coupled with the rain there will not be fulfillment. You get these things out of God's grace - and human effort.

Human effort and God's grace are like positive and negative. God's grace however strong it is, when there is no human effort, it will not be fructified. Therefore, God's grace and human effort will lead to fulfillment. What kind of things or relationships and attachment between the two exists? Branch cannot live leaving

the tree. Branch is a spark of the tree. Leaving mother, child cannot live. Child is a spark of the mother. Individual cannot live leaving God. Individual, individual is the spark of God. The relationship between the human and God is that of the spark and the entity.

This truth is truth, like text veda (Swami: Sathyam vada, dharmam chara

). The two eyes of the culture: speak truth and practice dharma or Righteousness. Because of these standards set before us by epics and other sacred texts, we

face all troubles. The sacred texts are meant for the lift, upliftment of mankind. We should recognize how to make use of them.

To protect humanity God created food. Food

for the protection of the body and the wearing

for the protection of the body. As the God created food, if you eat as you like there will be digestive problems also. Because the food has been created for us, you could not, you should not run after low

food. Food will help you, when you make use of it to the extent necessary. If you eat in excess it will take you to sickness. If you eat very less it will make you weak.

We should also experience God's grace as per our deservedness. Basing it on our relationship heart to heart we should experience. Aspirants [sadhakas] should understand, enquiry of the ephemeral and permanent. Wisdom [jnana] is of three types. Though wisdom is one and the same, it will uplift mankind in three directions. This wisdom is of three types: individual wisdom, wisdom of the society and the wisdom of the Universe. This wisdom is

of three types. One is ignorance [ajnana], good knowledge [sujnana], and super knowledge [prajnana]. The very same wisdom relating to dullness, relating to piousness, relating to emotion.

The first, individual wisdom, it is a physical wisdom that will help him to know himself. What sort of

is that? It is the light of the bulb in a room. The light of the bulb is confined to that room. This light is not seen outside. The second, the moonlight. The moonlight no doubt is present inside and outside, but it is not very clear. Third one, sunlight (Swami: Sunlight). It will make you see very clearly inside and outside. This is infinite wisdom. This is the wisdom of the divine. This is

non-dual wisdom. This is infinite wisdom. This is full wisdom. It is divine wisdom of the self [atma jnana]. It is the wisdom of the self that will make everyone shine. This is the power of the intellect. This is the power of the awareness.

In this aspect of awareness, human life is just a spark. Body [deha] has eyes. Ears are there. There is mouth. Hands are there. There are limbs. What for are the limbs? They are limbs of the body. All of, all of them are the limbs of the body. Body is the limb of the society. The society is a limb of humanity. The human life is a limb of nature [prakrithi]. Nature is a limb of God. The entire Universe, the entire Universe is a combination and relationship of limbs to limbs. That kind of relationship of limbs exists between devotee and God (Swami: Mamaivaamso jivaloka jiva bhutha sanathanaha

). Basing on this God said, "You are My spark, you are eternal."

All the shining of your intellect, let you

shine forth on the divine society. You are the limb of the society. If the society is to shine, the individual has to shine. It is only the human quality, which will make the society shine. This human quality will make the nature also shine in brilliance. It is God who will make the nature shine.

Below are the senses. Above is mind. Over that intellect [buddhi]. Over that the self [atma]. So, to atma, intellect is very near. The light of the self will fall on the intellect. The shining of the intellect will fall on the mind. The power of the mind will go on the senses. It is only the effect of the senses, that carry on the life sojourn.

Who is manava, human being? Man is just the mind! What do you mean by mind? It is combination of thoughts [sankalpa] and aberrations [vikalpa]. The fruits of our thoughts and aberrations is our daily life situations. The result of our daily life is responsible for our pleasure and pain. So, that which is the basis for pleasure and pain, our behavior - when our behavior is fine, they will be responsible for the pleasure and pain. So, every human being he should shape his conduct, behavior properly. Society is no separate form. Society is combination of individuals. So, when human quality turns into divinity, the entire society will reflect that divinity.

As per the time [kala], good and bad come to you. It is only after

the time, you become a rich man or a pauper. Time is responsible for all forms in this world. On this Earth there is no one, that would not yield to the time. All are chained, bound by time. No one can transgress time and place. Time is a flow. In this ever flowing waters of time, everyone will have to be carried out. So, we should make proper use of time. The day, when we misuse time, the body will face all troubles. Good and bad of the body are based on the time. As per the time, all come as per the time.

So, all beings, they are bound by karma or action. Human society is bound by activity. The birth and death are based on time. Under these circumstances man is not making an effort to know the time properly. There are many more that waste time. You can just think how many are making good things in

seconds of time at least. You can think how many are making proper use of time. Many waste time. Getting up from bed until he goes to sleep without any limits, he spends the day for a living. He wastes his time. Spending your time on education, forgetting God, what big happiness you have got, oh man? Wasting time, what happiness you have? Making the time sacred, what is it, that you experience? You inquire both.

The one who sanctifies the time, it is proper life. So, in human life the action that will make, sanctify the time, one should practice. That is the aim of this body.

Embodiments of divine atma! In our body it is not the individual things that are important. The individual matter is so narrow and limited. It is a sort of a bulb in a room. It is bound within itself. So, its vastness, its infiniteness has to be transformed into divinity. So, every man, in this vastness we should develop. Where from you get this vastness? You get it only out of God's grace. To have God's grace our mind has to be diverted towards God. Turning it towards the world, it is not possible to have divinity. To acquire divinity man should proceed in that direction.

In darkness we cannot see any object clearly. Not only can't you see, you cannot see ups and downs of these objects. You may face many dangers that way. It is all darkness, how can you see ups and downs? There is only fall. You face dangers. This is individual wisdom. This individual wisdom has got the divinity within.

Consulting each other, inquire in broad feelings, we should arrive at correct decision. That is the wisdom of society. How should be the wisdom of the community?

It is a combination of darkness and light. One may be carried away, mistaken identity, taking a rope as a serpent. Looking at the serpent he may take it as a rope, and take the rope as serpent, because this wisdom is full of confusion. At one time 'yes', at another time 'no'. It is a combination of wisdom and ignorance.

The full wisdom, it will make things very, very clear. It proves divinity in both. It completely takes away the separation of the world and God. It will also, makes construction out of destruction. It will kill all together the individual wisdom, which is created.

In the present day world the individual knowledge is on the rise. He is deceiving himself. The individual knowledge is not noble. So, he will be egoistic [ahamkara]. It will take him still more into ignorance. It will take him to still more confusion. The divinity knows all, pretends as if He does not know. Seeing everything, pretends as if He has not seen. Such is the knowledge of

- God knows everything, but devotees doubt whether He knows or not. The reason is the effect of the illusion. This gopikas said. They understand Krishna's nature very clearly. The knowledge of the gopikas is out of yearning, and pining, and longing.

One gopika said, "Can anyone wake up a person who is in sound sleep, forgetting his body? Is it possible for anyone to wake a person who pretends to be sleeping with the eyes closed?"

He is awake, but with closed eyes, but pretending to be in sleep. No one can wake him up. If one is in a deep sleep, by just tapping he will be awake. The one who is not sleeping, it is easy to wake him up. The one who is awake, but still pretending to be asleep, it is impossible to wake him up. So, Krishna pretended like that. Only to demonstrate and prove that devotion and the surrender are both one and the same.

Gopikas never believed that God sleeps. If God sleeps the whole Universe sleeps. So, God is beyond food and sleep. Man is bound by time. So, man needs food and sleep. God has no sleep, but for others' sake He acts, pretends to be sleeping. Many people cannot take it as mere action.

The nature of devotion [bhakthi] it will be a cure for all diseases - so, to give relief for this journey. It also proves God's nature. It confers liberation to the devotee. In devotion two letters: 'Bha', 'Kthi'. Two letters are there. It is only association with God, is real fulfillment. What is it that devotion gives? It gives food. What is it that food does? It gives strength to the body. What is it that strength does? It gives you all intelligence. What is it that intelligence gives? It gives fulfillment. When you experience fulfillment you will get detachment. What is it that detachment gives? It gives liberation. So, (Swami: Bhakthi) devotion, (Swami: Bhukthi) and food, (Swami: Rakhti) attachment, (Swami: Virakthi) detachment, (Swami: Anurakthi) liking, (Swami: Mukthi) and liberation. All are conferred by devotion. In all these words 'Kthi' is the common letter. 'Bha' letter in Bhagavan, God. Bha stands for God and 'Kthi' stands for power, together bhakthi, devotion.

Bhakthi meant, full love is devotion. That which is full of attachment is bhakthi. Merely worshipping, if you have no intense love it is only knack [yukthi]. This knack will make you a crack after some time. So, we should not have knack like that. We should have that deep intense love, rakthi. The power of this intense love will lead to liberation. Liberation meant freedom, and meaning release. What is it out of, your relief? You are to be relieved out of this mental feeling. You need freedom from, out of thoughts. Man is chained by the ropes of thoughts and aberrations. His, his heart is full of thoughts and aberrations.

Radha, one day, she was lying in her room. She got a thought. "I am alone. Anyone may step into this room. Have I closed the door?" Thoughts started there. "As I am about to close the door, as I go to close the doors, there is a call

, 'Open the door!' The doors which are not to be closed - there is a call, 'Open the door!'" It made Radha all in smiles.

Out of the same heart, two thoughts came. Two thoughts came: "Close the door!" another thought, "Open the door!" These two thoughts came out of the same heart. What a fun it is. She started smiling.

A call. It will make Radha in all smiles. The entire Universe is the temple of God. The entire Universe is the temple of God. Where is the door (Swami: Main door)? Where is the main door? When He is all over the Universe, why do you need a door? If there is a separate place, you need a door. When the entire Universe is full of His temple, where is the search for main door? "The Lord of the Universe is just behind me, after me (Swami: Around me), around me. When the Lord of the Universe is around me, why is the question of call. Where is the question of door? Where is the question of main door?" she thought. "But one thing is there. As I play on strings of vena, sewing the strings of life (Swami: Nirvikalpa), the nirvikalpa, as I offer the tears of joy in self-surrender, that is the main door."

What is the main door?

playing on the strings of Vena, the spinal column (Swami: Sushumna naadi). That is the sushumna naadi. Playing on the spinal column, sewing, sewing the life source (c: Prana), (Swami: Prana, apana, vyana, udana, samana). Preserving all the five sources, as I self-surrender with tears of joy, see that very heaven, kailasa. Oh individual, that is the very main door.

What is the main door?

with full control of limbs, having captured the power of the kundalini in the spinal column, (c: and by) surrendering the life source to God, then we will earn the bliss. That is very heaven, kailasa. That is the joy of God, that is very vaikuntha. It is vaikuntha, paradise. That is the main door. In this Universe there is no other door!

When the entire Universe is the temple of God, where is the main door? (Swami: No door) No door. (Swami: No window) No window. The entire Universe is the temple. That is true divinity.

The gopikas realized the truth of this. So, they never had any separation or Union, as they considered everything the divinity. They pretended, as if they suffered separation. What is the reason? Only to give a teaching to aspirants [sadhakas], to prove their steadfastness and pass it on to the world. So, the one who has known the knowledge of the self is gopi. The one who has not known the nature of the self is papi or a sinner. How do you get the difference between gopi and papi, the sinner? It is the effect of illusion [maya]. It is in everyone. It dances.

The name of illusion [maya] is narthaki. For this word narthaki how many letters? (Swami: Nar-Tha-Ki) Three letters: Nar-Tha-Ki. (Swami: Kir-Tha-Na). To have the full control over this illusion, narthaki, the only solution is (Swami: Nar-Tha-Ki, Kir-Tha-Na), three letters Nar-Tha-Ki. Read it in the reverse direction - out of singing of the Lord, you can have control over illusion. So, ...
