Mi querido Indulal,
Usted y otros miembros del Seva Samithi saben con qué prisa me fui, el 26 de marzo, a causa del Programa en Poona. De Poona, conduje directamente a Gulbarga y al día siguiente partí hacia Hyderabad.
Podría pasar más tiempo con todos ustedes, tanto tiempo como me hubiera gustado. Estabas tan ocupado haciendo todos los arreglos agradables para los cientos de miles de Bhakthas y yo estaba tan ocupado compartiendo con ellos en Ananda, que tuve poco tiempo para pasar con los miembros de Samithi, ya sea en el Palacio o en la casa que visité. Bien. La próxima vez, se podrá compensar.
El servicio que le prestaste a la gente de Bombay es realmente encomiable. Puedo ver la cantidad de previsión, organización, habilidad y devoción que debes tener para que todo sea tan suave y cómodo para todos. La próxima vez, será un trabajo aún más difícil, y aún más agradable; Estoy seguro de que podrás hacerlo y te encantará hacerlo.
Recibo muchas cartas de Bombay y otros lugares, de devotos que estuvieron allí, apreciando tu Seva; cuando las leo, me siento orgulloso del excelente grupo de trabajadores que se ha formado en esa Ciudad.
Cientos de personas vienen a este lugar todos los días y por eso tengo que estar aquí unas dos semanas más, a pesar del intenso calor y el corte de luz, que apaga el ventilador en las horas más calurosas.
Cuando los corazones de todos ustedes se mantienen frescos, eso es una gran serenidad refrescante para mí.

My dear Indulal,
You and other members of the Seva Samithi know in what great haste I came away, on 26th March, on account of the Poona Programme. From Poona, I drove straight to Gulbarga and the very next day, I left for Hyderabad.
I could spend more time with you all, as much time as I would have liked. You were so busy making all the nice arrangements for the hundreds of thousands of Bhakthas and I was so busy sharing with them in Ananda, that I had little time to spent with the Samithi members, either at the Palace or in the home I visited. Well. Next time, compensation can be made.
The service that you did to the people of Bombay Is really commendable. I can see what amount of forethought, organisation, skill and devotion you must have all in to make everything so smooth and comfortable for all. Next time, it is going to be an even more difficult, rather, an even more enjoyable job; I am sure you can do it and will love to do it.
I am getting many letters from Bombay and other places, from devotees who were there, appreciating your Seva; when I read them, I feel proud of the fine band of workers which has been formed in that City.
Hundreds of people are coming to this place every day and so, I have to be here for some two weeks more, in spite of the intense heat and the power cut, which puts the fan out of action during the hottest hours.
When the hearts of you all are kept cool that is fine refreshing coolness for me.
