TRES MAHA MANTHRAS
Hay tres Maha Manthras (máximas supremas) que deben ser siempre recordadas: tengan amor a Dios; teman al pecado; observen moralidad en la sociedad. Solo aquella persona que practica estrictamente estas máximas puede ser llamada un verdadero ser humano. Todo trabajador en la Organización Sri Sathya Sai debe esforzarse sinceramente, y santificar su vida. Esta debe ser la verdadera meta de la vida. Este es el mensaje de Año Nuevo para ustedes, con mis bendiciones.
El hombre busca incesantemente la alegría, y hace cualquier cosa para experimentar la alegría. Pero, ¿dónde está la alegría? Es inherente al hombre. Sin darse cuenta de esta verdad, él la busca en los objetos exteriores. Esto es ignoranvia. Nada de eso satisfará a un seguidor espiritual. No anhelen poder, posición ni riqueza.
Dedíquense al servicio desinteresado y adhieran a la Verdad.
Diferentes personas llaman a Dios con diferentes nombres. Pero Dios es solo Uno. Cuando ustedes se paan frente a un espejo, ven su propio reflejo. Pero cuando se elimina el espejo, solo se quita su reflejo. El mundo es el reflejo de Dios. Dios está presente en todas las personas.
El servicio desinteresado es lo que conduce al hombre hacia Dios. El propósito del viaje de la vida es tomar conciencia de Dios. No pierdan el tiempo. Dedíquense al Sadhana (ejercicios espirituales) para llegar a la meta. No desperdicien la valiosa vida humana en placeres insignificantes.
Cualesquiera sean los obstáculos que puedan enfrentar, y sin importar lo que le ocurra su cuerpo, no se desvíen de la búsqueda de la Divinidad. Este es el propósito por el cual están dotados de una inteligencia iluminada. Pasar la vida en la búsqueda de efímeros objetos mundanos es descender al nivel del animal. Ustedes deben esforzarse por elevarse hasta el sublime nivel de la Divinidad. Este es su elevado destino.

THREE MAHA MANTHRAS
There are three Maha Manthras (supreme maxims) which should be ever remembered: Have Love for God; fear sin; observe morality in society. Only that person who practices these maxims strictly can be called a true human being. Every worker in Sri Sathya Sai Organisation should endeavour sincerely and sanctify his or her life.
This should be verily one's goal of life. This is the New Year message to you, with My blessings.
Man seeks joy endlessly, and he does anything for the sake of experiencing joy. But where is that joy. It is inherent in man. Not realising this truth, he is seeking it in external objects. This is ignorance. None of these will satisfy a spiritual follower. Do not hanker after power, position or wealth. Engage yourself in selfless service and adhere to Truth.
Different people call God by different names. But God is One only. When you stand before a mirror you will see your reflection. But when the mirror is removed, only your reflection is removed. World is the reflection of God. God is present in everyone.
It is selfless service which leads man to God. The pose of life's journey is to realise God. Do not waste your time. Engage yourselves in Sadhana (spiritual exercises) to reach the goal. Do not waste valuable human life in the paltry pleasures.
Whatever obstacles you may face and whatever may happen to your body, do not deviate from the quest for the Divinity. That is the purpose for which you are endowed with illumined intelligence. To spend life on pursuing ephemeral worldly objects is to descend to the level of animals. You must endeavour to rise to the sublime level of the Divine. This is your high destiny.
