EL FRUTO ES SEGÚN EL SADHANA
Kasturi, la carta que escribiste me llegó en Kodai. Como yo partía de Kodai el mismo día, no tuve tiempo de responder. Llegué a Madrás el 28 a las 12 de la noche.
Kasturi, me alegro de que tu gira con tu madre resultó ser feliz. Cuando Swami está contigo, ¿qué puede faltar? El Nombre y la Forma no están separados. La Forma te recuerda el Nombre. Siendo así, cuando ese Nombre baila siempre en tu corazón, naturalmente ves la Forma. Podrías decir que todo es la voluntad de Swami. Primero el sadhana y después el sankalpa (la voluntad). El fruto es según el sadhana del devoto. El maestro pone la nota según las respuestas que escribe el estudiante. En consecuencia, el sankalpa es según el sadhana. Para esto, sin embargo, hace falta la Gracia.
¡Pobre Padma! Sufre una gran tensión por la salud de Chandran. No importa; ¿por qué temer cuando la Gracia de Swami esta presente en plenitud? Aquel día —aquella noche— Padma estaba escribiendo una carta a Parthi… también vi esto. Aunque por supuesto, la carta no me había llegado “el sentimiento” de la carta sí me había llegado.
Transmite mis bendiciones a tu Grihalakshmi (la Lakshmi de la casa, lo que significa “la esposa” y a la Mathrudevi (la diosa madre), a los niños y a Chandran. Me voy a Parthi el 30.

"Kasturi, the letter you wrote has reached me at Kodai
As I was starting from Kodai the same day, I did not find time to reply. I reached Madras on 28th night at 12 o' clock.
Kasturi, I am glad to know that your tour with your mother turned out to be a happy one. When Swami is with you, what dearth can there be? The Name and Form are not separate. The name shows the Form. The Form reminds you of the Name. That being so, when that Name dances always in your heart - naturally you saw the Form. You may say that it is all Swami's will. First, the sadhana, and then the sankalpa (will). The fruit is in accordance with the sadhana of the devotee. The teacher awards marks according to the answers written by the student. Thus, the sankalpa is in accordance with the sadhana. For this, however, one needs Grace.
Poor Padma she is in great tension regarding Chandran's health. Doesn't matter - when swami's grace is there in full measure, why fear? I saw that day - that night.
Padma was writing a letter to Parthi...I saw that also. Though, ofcourse, the letter has not reached Me, the 'feeling' of the letter has reached Me.
